1. Eligibility:
Open only to legal residents of Canada, excluding the province of Quebec, who are at least eighteen (18) years old or the age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older, at the time of entry. Employees of QUBER Technologies, Inc., (“Sponsor”) their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and fulfillment and marketing agencies (collectively, “Promotion Parties”), their immediate families (parent, child, sibling & spouse and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and/or persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Contest. By participating in the Contest, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility upon entry and/or upon selection as a potential winner.
2. Period:
A Contest period consists of six (6) monthly entry periods (“Monthly Entry Period”) and one (1) grand prize entry period (“Grand Prize Entry Period”) (collectively, “Contest Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s computer/clock is the official time-keeping device for the Contest.
Monthly Entry Period 1: Begins January 1, 2024 00:00:00 AM ET and ends January 31, 2024 23:59:59 PM ET, Monthly Draw Date February 9, 2024. (5 prizes x $50)
Monthly Entry Period 2: Begins February 1, 2024 00:00:00 AM ET and ends February 29, 2024 23:59:59 PM ET, Monthly Draw Date March 8, 2024. (5 prizes x $50)
Monthly Entry Period 3: Begins March 1, 2024 00:00:00 AM ET and ends March 31, 2024 23:59:59 PM ET, Monthly Draw Date April 12, 2024. (5 prizes x $50)
Monthly Entry Period 4: Begins April 1, 2024 00:00:00 AM ET and ends April 30, 2024 23:59:59 PM ET, Monthly Draw Date May 10, 2024. (5 prizes x $50)
Monthly Entry Period 5: Begins May 1, 2024 00:00:00 AM ET and ends May 31, 2024 23:59:59 PM ET, Monthly Draw Date June 14, 2024. (5 prizes x $50)
Monthly Entry Period 6: Begins June 1, 2024 00:00:00 AM ET and ends June 30, 2024 23:59:59 PM ET, Monthly Draw Date July 12, 2024. (5 prizes x $50)
Grand Prize Entry Period: Begins January 1, 2024 00:00:00 AM ET and ends June 30, 2024 23:59:59 PM ET, Grand Prize Draw Date July 12, 2024. (1 prize x $1000)
3. How To Enter:
Save to Win ballots are awarded to users based on their QUBER account growth in multiples of $20. The number of ballots a user earns during any Contest Period is equal to the balance of their QUBER account at the end of that period minus the balance of their QUBER account at the beginning of the period divided by twenty (20). Savings must remain in the QUBER account until after the draw in question is complete to be counted as ballots.
Bonus Entries: Periodically during the Contest Period additional bonus entry opportunities will be available within the QUBER app. Entrants should login to the QUBER app periodically for bonus entry opportunities, instructions, and limits.
4. Random Drawings:
On or about each Monthly Draw Date listed in Section 2, the Sponsor will randomly select five (5) potential $50 cash prize winners from among all eligible entries received during the applicable Monthly Entry Period. Each winner is deemed to be a potential winner pending verification of his or her eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules as determined by Sponsor, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. At the Sponsor’s discretion, a potential winner may not be awarded a prize for the following reasons: if their account is closed at the time of awards, if fraudulent activity has been detected on the account or if the account has been deemed a potential risk for fraud. Additionally, the Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or potential prize winner who appears to be willfully engaging in unfair practices or attempts to game the system.
On or about each Grand Prize Draw Date listed in Section 2, the Sponsor or its designee will randomly select one (1) potential $1000 cash prize winner from among all eligible entries received during the applicable Grand Prize Entry Period. The winner is deemed to be a potential winner pending verification of his or her eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules as determined by Sponsor, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. 5. Prizes and Odds of Winning:
I. Grand Prizes (1 total): One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be eligible to receive $1,000 deposited into his/her QUBER bank account
II. Monthly Prizes (5 per Monthly Entry Period, 30 total): Each Monthly Prize Winner will receive $50 deposited into his/her QUBER bank account
III. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received for the applicable Monthly Entry Period or Grand Prize Entry Period.
6. How to Claim a Prize:
Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Each potential winner will be notified by Sponsor via e-mail within three (3) business days from the Draw Date with further instructions on how to claim his/her prize. If a notification e-mail or prize is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner FAILS TO RESPOND TO THE PRIZE NOTIFICATION WITHIN SEVEN (7) DAYS FROM THE DATE THE NOTIFICATION WAS SENT, or if a winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited, and in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, the forfeited prize may be awarded to an alternate potential winner, selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries in the applicable Monthly Entry Period or Grand Prize Entry Period, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Upon verification of eligibility, each prize will be automatically deposited into the winner’s QUBER bank account (if he/she entered via QUBER App Method). The Promotion Parties shall not be held responsible for any delays in providing a prize for any reason. If, after a good-faith attempt, Sponsor is unable to provide or deliver a prize, the prize may not be awarded. Prizes are not transferable. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (AS DETERMINED AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS A WINNER OF THE CONTEST, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED. ALL FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL AND LOCAL TAXES IMPOSED ON THE ACCEPTANCE OF A PRIZE ARE SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH WINNER.
7. Rights Granted by You:
By entering the Contest, you understand and agree that Sponsor, anyone acting on behalf of Sponsor, and Sponsor’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without limitation, any information, images, or other media about or associated with you, including any name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Contest, and biographical information, for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review or consent.
8. General Conditions:
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should any virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest. In such case, Sponsor may select the potential winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website/platform upon which it is hosted, violates these Official Rules, including, but not limited to: the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who has engaged in conduct intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant, Sponsor, or Sponsor’s representatives, or who otherwise engages in conduct that Sponsor deems to be objectionable or against the spirit of the Contest, all as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Proof of sending any communication to Sponsor shall not be deemed proof of receipt of that communication.
9. Limitation of Liability:
By submitting your entry, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor and each of its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of its respective partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from and against any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) participation in the Contest and/or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; (vi) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable entries or other correspondence; or (vii) injury or damage to persons or property.
